This Friday night the Lincoln Cougars will be facing off against the North Marion Huskies. MSPT has locations in Shinnston and in Mannington so we are going head to head this week! To make it interesting we are having a little contest to see which fan base can get more likes and comments.

Last week physical therapists and Board-Certified Orthopedic Specialists Gabe Wilson and Chris Moore performed injury prevention screenings with the Fairmont Senior cheerleading team. Gabe & Chris evaluated core & hip strength, landing form with dynamic jumps, and screened for back & shoulder injuries. At the conclusion, the team was taught specific corrective exercises targeting hip & core weakness. I love the pride that West Virginians have in our state and the “blue collar” nature of our residents. I also love the mountains and outdoor activities here.

I love to treat athletes because most of them are driven to return to their sport & they are grateful when they return to doing what they love to do.
